Mary Kirsten Broussard is the Fall 2018 Outstanding Graduate for the Department of Economics and Finance in the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration. She is an Insurance & Risk Management major with a 3.945 GPA.

She is the recipient of the Valedictorian Scholarship, Southwest LA Claims Scholarship, Bayou CPCU Scholarship, Rhett Jeansonne Scholarship, and LA Surplus Lines Scholarship.

She is the President of the Risk Management & Insurance Society. Broussard’s community service includes raising funds for American Cancer Society Relay for Life Vermilion Paris and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Great Strides walk. She is a tutor for students of all ages in Vermillion Parish.
After graduation, Broussard plans to work in the insurance industry and earn her graduate degree.

She is the daughter Claire G. Broussard and the late Daniel J. Broussard.
