AACSB

The B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette earned initial business accreditation in 1996 and accounting program accreditation in 2011 by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Moody Business is among the top 1% of business schools worldwide accredited in both business and accounting. In the US, we are among the top 10% of business schools accredited by AACSB in both business and accounting. The College was commended on numerous strengths, including:

  • ENGAGEMENT -  Successful internship program and community involvement
  • INNOVATION - Creative service learning and applied projects
  • IMPACT - Effective teaching and collaborative initiatives with the community

This accreditation insures that students receive a top-quality business education, and also lets employers know that our graduates are ready to perform from day one. This distinction also allows Moody Business to attract higher quality students, greater research opportunities, and receive global recognition. Moody Business has maintained accreditation continuously for its business and accounting degree programs since initial accreditation and will maintain its five-year AACSB accreditation through 2025.
