Meet Madeleine Comeaux, a senior majoring in hospitality management. We're shining a spotlight on Madeleine because of her involvement in UL Lafayette's chapter of Phi Kappa Phi.

Where are you from? The Lafayette area

What is your major? Hospitality Management (French Language minor)

When will you graduate? Fall 2018

Why do you love being a business student? I love the opportunities for professional growth and development that are offered through the college.

What is your organizational involvement and work experience? I serve as a Student Vice President for UL's chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

How long have you been involved in your organization? I was initiated in February of 2017.

Are you involved in any other organizations, clubs, or jobs at the university? Ragin Hospitality Association, Peer Mentor Organization, National Society of Leadership & Success, and the Honors Program.

What is your favorite part of your organization? I love that our organization focuses on the importance and value in learning.

How is your experience as a student at the College of Business preparing you for post-graduate success? It has allowed me countless opportunities to experience the Hospitality industry first hand through field trips and internships.

What are your plans for the future? I am still exploring, but currently I desire to return to the Walt Disney Company within a management capacity.

Do you have any words of advice for current or future students? There is so much value in learning both in and out of the classroom. Never stop seeking out new ways to learn and grow.

What are your other interests or hobbies? I am a lover of all things Disney.
