Casey Dugas is the Fall 2016 Outstanding Graduate for the Department of Marketing and Hospitality Management and has been named the overall Outstanding Graduate for thethe Moody College of Business.

Majoring in marketing with a concentration in professional sales, Dugas maintained a 3.9 cumulative GPA throughout her undergraduate career. She has been recognized on the President’s

List six times and is an active member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.  She has competed on the Service Chevrolet Cadillac Ragin’ Sales Team, where she placed as a semi-finalist at the Russ Berrie Institute Sales Competition in New Jersey.

Throughout her college career, Dugas has been awarded with several scholarships including the Northwestern Mutual of Louisiana Endowed Scholarship in Marketing and Sales, The University of Louisiana Centennial Scholarship and the Ray P. Valedictorian Scholarship. Last spring, she was also recognized as the Alpha Delta Pi Miss Community Service for completing the most community service hours within the year.

Dugas is also very active in her local community. She has been a youth leader since 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Broussard helping with chaperoning of student events and mentoring students. She has also volunteered at Festival International de Louisiane, the United Way Big Event and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Dugas currently works as a runner for Jones Walker Law Firm. Following graduation, Dugas plans to relocate to the Dallas/Plano Tx. area to work as an inside sales representative for Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. She also hopes to continue volunteering at a church in the area. Her career goals include working in higher leadership roles with Hewlett-Packard and eventually returning to Louisiana to attend law school.
