David Allen McBride Jr. has been selected as the Management Department’s Outstanding Graduate Award for the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration for the Spring 2016 semester.

Maintaining a 3.56 cumulative GPA, McBride has been recognized on the Dean’s List multiple semesters and the President’s List during the Spring 2015 semester. McBride was also a recipient of the Willis and Mildred Pellerin Foundation Scholarship and the Advanced Placement Scholar Award.

In addition to his academic achievements, McBride is also a member of international honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Sigma Nu Fraternity, Eta Nu Chapter.

After completing his bachelor’s degree, McBride plans to attend Louisiana State University Law School, where he was offered a $15,000 scholarship and appointed as a Dean’s List Scholar by the Law School. Once he completes law school, McBride plans to join the military with hopes of serving as a Judge Advocate or working for the government in a legal capacity.
