Three new faculty members joined the B.I. Moody College of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette beginning in the Fall 2015 semester.

The new faculty members, who all hold master’s degrees in business administration, include a former high school teacher with expertise in marketing and curriculum design, a highly-decorated member of the United States Air Force and law school graduate, and a UL Lafayette alumnus who is now the chief executive officer for three companies.

Stacey Chamberlain joins the faculty as an instructor of principles of marketing and promotions management. Before teaching at UL Lafayette, Chamberlain worked as a business and technology teacher at Saint Thomas More Catholic High School, where she designed and implemented business curriculum.

From 2011 to 2013, Chamberlain worked at ArchPoint Consulting as a project manager and marketing coordinator. Chamberlain, who earned a bachelor of science in marketing, will serve as a faculty advisor for the American Marketing Association student chapter this fall.

A new assistant professor of law, Chase Edwards, was a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force who served 6 1/2 years with the National Security Agency and National Reconnaissance Office. Edwards earned an MBA in contract and acquisition management from the United States Naval Postgraduate School.

After leaving the service, Edwards returned home to Louisiana where he attended law school at Louisiana State University. He received the CALI Award for the highest grades in Louisiana Civil Procedure and Advanced Torts. Edwards remains an active member of the Louisiana Bar Association and enjoys defending white collar crime cases and advocating for military veterans.

Reece Theriot, a native of St. Martinville, Louisiana, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2012. During his undergraduate studies Theriot also started Lamleo, LLC a parent company composed of several entrepreneurial ventures.

Theriot pursued his MBA at the Moody College of Business immediately after graduation and graduated summa cum laude in 2014. During his graduate studies, he became one of the area’s most renowned orthopedic salesmen while working for Arthrex, Inc. Theriot hopes that through his courses, students will learn the processes of becoming elite salespeople with tremendous credibility, class and success.
