The Department of Business Systems, Analysis, and Technology is very pleased to report that the UL Student Chapter of AITP had  a productive educational and networking experience in Houston for the Region 3 AITP Student Conference in Houston, TX.   Seven UL MIS students, representing the second largest group of students from Louisiana, made the trip to the University of Houston and participated in five different events.

Two of the UL teams placed in the competitions, the very first appearance of UL MIS students at any competition. The UL Network Design team, composed of Joseph Andersen and Blake Bernard, earned second place in the network design competition and the UL Systems Analysis and Design team, composed of Dean Bouzigard and Heather Clavier, earned third place in the systems analysis and design competition. The University of Louisiana team placed third overall in the competition based on the points that all of the UL teams earned throughout the conference.

Congratulations to these students and their advisor, Mr. Brian West, who coached and encouraged them throughout the competition!
