The B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration has been the home of the Journal of Insurance Issues [ISSN: 1531-6076] since 2005, when Dr. William L. Ferguson was named only its eighth Managing Editor.  Published continuously since 1977 using the time honored double-blind peer manuscript review system, the Journal of Insurance Issues (JII) is/has been the official publication of the Western Risk and Insurance Association (WRIA), and will be jointly sponsored by both the WRIA and the Southern Risk and Insurance Association (SRIA) beginning in 2010 (volume 33).  The JII publishes original research on any/all subjects associated with risk management, insurance, employee benefits, actuarial science, pensions, financial planning, estate planning or other risk-related topic; and the current Cabell’s manuscript acceptance rate is approximately 15-20%.  For more information or to search the JII, please visit: http://www.wria.org/journal.html .
