Beta Alpha Psi achieves Superior Chapter status
Mon, 10/30/2017 - 12:38pmCongratulations to Kappa Theta Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi members and adviser Dr. Suzanne Ward on recently achieving Superior Chapter status for the 2016-2017 academic year. This international recognition has earned the chapter an award of $500, which is sponsored by KPMG and the KPMG Foundation. Under the leadership of Dr. Ward, the Kappa Theta Chapter has exceeded the baseline requirements of Beta Alpha Psi in areas such as academics, professionalism, and leadership.
Naomi Meaux, the current chapter president, says that her experiences in Beta Alpha Psi have helped her in many ways. She says that Beta Alpha Psi “…was an experience that further developed my professional acumen through an array of expert-led sessions, exceptional keynote speakers, industry-relevant leadership activities and networking opportunities.”
Meaux mentioned that the next step for this chapter is implementing a mentor program where candidates will have the advice and support of current members throughout their college careers and even after they graduate.
