Alexandra Dardar named Outstanding Graduate for College and University
Thu, 01/08/2015 - 3:08pmAlexandra Dardar has achieved her goal of being named the Outstanding Graduate for not only the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration, but she has also been named the Fall 2014 Outstanding Graduate for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She set the goal during her first semester and has worked incessantly to reach it, finishing her degree in only 3.5 years.
She is an Accounting major with a 3.894 GPA and is also the Fall 2014 outstanding graduate for the Department of Accounting.
Dardar was on the President’s List Fall 2011 through 2013. Serving as member and officer of Beta Alpha Psi - Kappa Theta Chapter, she was named Member of the Month and Outstanding Executive Committee member. She is also a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, studied abroad in Costa Rica in 2013, and was honored as a Homecoming Court Maid in 2014.
Her community service includes Habitat for Humanity, Saint Joseph’s Diner, Autism Walk, Operation Move-In, and volunteering for holiday parties at a local children's shelter. Additionally, Dardar created the Friends Matter Club at North Vermilion High School, which helps students interact and spend time with special needs students at school.
Dardar is currently an intern at Darnall, Sikes, Gardes and Frederick. She will pursue her master's in business administration here at the Moody College of Business.
She is the daughter of Clayton and Susan Dardar of Abbeville, LA.
