Moody College of Business Scholarships

The B. I. Moody III College of Business Administration is fortunate to have a healthy endowment from the contributions of many donors, organizations, and businesses over the years. This benefits our students in the form of a great number of departmental and college-wide scholarships available to be awarded each year.

The selection process for each upcoming academic year begins in the Spring semester. All students in the college completing the previous Fall semester as a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average will be invited by email to complete a general scholarship application. These notifications will go out on the second Monday of the two-week advising period in March. Students will be given a deadline by which to complete the online application and turn in a current transcript to Justin W. Rice in the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration Dean's Office located in Moody Hall Room 226.

The Scholarship Committee, comprised of faculty representatives from each department, meet after final grades are in for the Spring semester to select recipients of all college-wide scholarships and many of the departmental scholarships for the Fall and Spring semesters. Students receiving awards will receive email notification from the Office of Student Services with the name, amount, donor address, and maintenance requirements of the scholarship they have received. Most awards are divided into two payments and a student must complete the Fall semester as a full-time student with a 3.0 semester grade point average in order to receive the balance of the award in the Spring. All recipients will be invited to an Honors Banquet hosted by the college each April where they will be given an opportunity to meet donors and be recognized for their awards.
