Taylor Serette has been selected by the U.L. Lafayette Alumni Association as the Fall 2016 Outstanding Graduate for the Department of Management at the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration.

Serette has maintained a 3.8 GPA throughout her undergraduate career and has been honored consistently on the Dean’s and/or President’s List beginning in the Fall 2013 semester. Because of her academic achievements, Serette was inducted into the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success in January of 2014. Serette was also granted several scholarships including the Charles J.D. Geretts, III Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Business Administration, the Vingent Cangelosi Endowed Award in Quantitative Management and the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship.

Aside from her academic achievements, Serette is active in several on campus organizations including the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Institute of Management Accountants Honor society. She is also active in her community and frequently volunteers for St. Jude, Habitat for Humanity and St. Joseph’s Diner.

Following graduation, Serette plans to complete the GMAT exam and begin studying for the CPA exam to become a certified accountant. In 2018, she plans to attend graduate school at UL Lafayette and work toward obtaining an MBA.
