2nd Annual Nonprofit Organizational Impact Seminar

The B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration’s 2nd annual Nonprofit Organizational Impact Seminar, featuring University of Louisiana at Lafayette faculty and nonprofit industry professionals, will take place Friday, February 27, 2015. The event will be held from 8:00am - 4:00pm at The Picard Center, located at 200 E. Devalcourt St., Lafayette.

The seminar is a collaborative effort between the College of Business and the UL Lafayette Foundation. Dr. Gwen Fontenot, Interim Dean of the Moody College of Business, will offer a welcome to all attendees. The seminar features keynote speakers including FranklinCovey consultant Becky Kreamer as well as Brad Jewell, Vice President/Chief Administrative and Financial Officer at Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation.

Lunch presentations include a brief overview of service, statewide initiatives, and volunteerism with Dr. David Yarbrough, Dean of Community Service at UL Lafayette; Kelly Pepper, President and CEO of Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations, and Geoff Gjertson, Professor of Architecture, UL Lafayette and lead faculty advisor, BeauSoleil Louisiana Solar Home Project.

University faculty will then lead afternoon panel discussions on topics such as board development, marketing, leadership, change management, legal and technology.

Registration includes breakfast and lunch: Individuals $50; UL Lafayette Faculty $20; and students $10. Discounted pricing is available by the February 8th early bird registration date. College of Business students receive complimentary registration (spaces limited).
