The B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration organized into five academic departments offers nine majors for the undergraduate business degree. The college also offers the graduate business MBA degree with an option to concentrate in Healthcare Administration. Our programs are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and AACSB International. About 3000 undergraduate and 200 graduate students attend the Moody College of Business Administration. In addition to the traditional business majors, unique curriculum choices include majors in insurance and risk management, hospitality management, and professional land and resource management, as well as the minors in francophone and hispanic language and culture.

Assistant professor of marketing has been recognized for his innovative teaching methods by the Marketing Management Association (MMA).
Dr. Stewart is one of only 10 marketing professors from across the nation to receive an award this year from the MMA as part of its 6th annual MMA Master Marketing Teaching competition sponsored by Hormel Foods. The competition is designed to acknowledge marketing faculty members who exhibit teaching excellence. Among its goals, the MMA aims to promote professionalism in marketing through excellence in education and training.

Ms. Ellen Cook, has authored 85 peer-reviewed journal articles, a number which focused on education incentives in the Internal Revenue Code, and taught individual income taxation and other tax-related courses for 32 years as a professor of accounting at the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration.
Ms. Cook currently serves as the assistant vice president for academic affairs at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, heads the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ panel on individual income taxation, where one of her areas of concentration there is education deductions and credits. |
